  • Thank you Morgan Baba. Very useful information. Sri Matre Namah

    • Aparna Maa,
      Pranaams
I wanted to add that at there is a Trust run Office for Kashi Vishwanath Temple. You can book a Rudra Abhishek and some other Poojas and pay for them at the Office. This cuts lines, removes pressure from the pandits, and ensures that there is no haggling.
You can also prebook tickets online for the early morning Mangla darshan of Kashi Vishwanath, when they do the complete Shringaar for the deity. I would recommend the prebooking highly.

      Hope this helps.

  • Thanks for the clarification Guruji 🙏

  • Sri Vidya Nyasa (Matrika devatas) is meant to be performed once Sunita maa before starting Maha Ganapati puja even though the latter’s puja/japa viddhi has its own nyasa sequence. Sri Vidya nyasa viddhi will grow independently, just like Pratah mantrani, during each level and eventually become one with Sri Yantra puja taught in final level- Lalita.

    Shubha mastu

  • Can someone provide inputs on visiting Ayodhya and Varanasi please? Like places to visit, stay, eat. Reliable cab company etc. Thanks

    • Sharing a video from Swamiji’s 41 days sadhana at Varanasi from 2023 highlighting picturesque Ganga ghats view:

    • Namaste –

I’ve visited both Ayodhya and Varanasi.. I will share what I can.

      Varanasi –

I traveled by AC sleeper bus, the bus drops on the outskirts and then auto-rickshaw from there. Once you get close to the river in central Varanasi it’s foot trafic only, not even bicycle rickshaw allowed. In one instance my stay location offered a porter to help carry my luggage to the guesthouse location. Perhaps whatever hotel you book can help upon inquiry.

I think the hotel I stayed at was hotel luxmi palace for 1000/night non-ac, and it’s very close to the Ganga aarti ghat as well as centrally located for many temples. The staff was nice and helpful, and the room was clean and fine for my purpose.

For me must visit places are:

      Kashi Vishwanath

      Annapoorna Mandir

      Vishalakshi Shakti peetham

      Kal Bhairav Mandir

      Ganga aarti

      Manikarnika cremation ghat

Casual early morning walks and sadhana along the ghats. I walked a lot between Dashashwamedh ghat and Brahma ghat.

And there’s so much more to explore and see.. I hope to visit again some day God willing.

      Ayodhya:

Again I came by AC bus, from Lucknow. Foreigners aren’t allowed to stay in the area close to the Sri Ram Mandir, so I had to stay about 2-3 km away. Now I’m unsure of the hotel name..

Besides visiting the obvious Sri Ram Janmabhoomi mandir and the Hanuman Mandir, also to see the Saryu aarti and nearby evening light show. I also recommend the Guptar ghat a bit outside of town, the location of Sri Ram’s jalsamadhi after His mission was fully completed.

Sorry, I don’t have more info such as drivers, particular places to eat and more temples. Perhaps others can contribute, as well as the previous post on Varanasi.

      Wishing you a blissful journey🙏

      Sri Matre Namah

  • Yes Ivan baba. Process of energizing various parts of our body during Viniyogah is a standard procedure for all Devata upasana viddhis along with its corresponding Karanyasa and Anganyasa. Its only the mantra/beeja-aksharas that differ between the Devatas.

  • Namaste Ivan baba… I always thought that all nyasas are to be done by touching various parts of the body… After some time when it becomes natural we can bring focus of the mind on that part of the body even without touching… but right now I do it by touch.. all – Matrika, Gayatri and MahaGanapati !!

    • Śrī Matre namaḥ, Gaurav Baba. I also support your opinion, but I asked for clarification because I wasn’t sure, due to the particular nature of each sādhana. Thank you very much for your comment!

  • Would love that, great idea.

  • Yes, indeed.
